Hi, I’m a writer trying to get back on my feet financially. I previously worked as a ghostwriter, but I lost that job when my former employer had to reduce the number of writers on his team. Since then, I’ve been trying to find new opportunities and continue building my writing career. I still write stories on Wattpad, and I want to pursue freelance writing more seriously. However, working primarily from a phone makes writing longer pieces, organizing my work, building a portfolio, and applying for jobs more difficult. I’m raising ₦400,000($300) to get an iPad and keyboard that will help me work more comfortably and pursue these opportunities. I’ve found an iPad 8th generation (128GB) for ₦255,000 and a compatible Apple Smart Keyboard for ₦100,000. The remaining amount will help cover other costs associated with getting set up.
