⚠️ To all the music chooms out there: If you ever receive an email from OXS Records or OXS Distribution claiming they’ve "discovered" you, or even saying that a well-known major artist has found you. Let me be blunt: that’s bullshit. OXS Records / OXS Distribution are not new players in the scene. They send out large volumes of messages to smaller artists, hoping someone will bite. And even if you do respond, you’re not getting a record deal or any kind of real backing. Instead, you’re asked to create an account with them and release your music through their platform so it appears on services like Spotify or Apple Music. OXS Records / OXS Distribution are essentially just a distribution service with relatively poor rates. They’re simply using "Distro Direct" from Gyro in a white-label setup to distribute your music. I can tell you from experience that if a record label wants to work with you, they never, and I mean never, send out emails like that.
