@polotek@social.polotek.net I've been thinking about whether/how to make my containerized local DB automatically back it self up, so I can easily move it. I have a bad habit of doing a bunch of manual tinkering in my databases, and I'm looking to try to reduce the temptation.

@bo_brinkman@kind.social @polotek@social.polotek.net my understanding is that Rails and Django do this really well, but I've also had good success with the go migration tools and flyway(!!) for a python project that was using plain SQL.
