@foxy 0) Australia 1) Three years. Upper Second Class Honours as entry. Masters acceptable. Evidence of recent significant research activity is the primary requirement. 2) No academic workload requirement. Submission of thesis and at least one first author paper. 3) TA work is paid, though hours spent is sometimes compensated by a multiplier of the standard rate, as the hours allocated rarely match the work hours, inluding preparation time. Money is not a primary goal for my TA work.
