The way that Erika Kirk is criticised, across the political spectrum, illustrates a deep, deep misogyny in our narratives of widows and #widowhood.
(In the US and UK at least, and probably more broadly).
I'm not sure yous non-widows are even seeing it. And I wish you would.

Erika Kirk is not a good person. She's a white supremacist misogynist just like her husband was. This is unsurprising, since she (presumably willingly) married him. That bears repeating, emphasising. Erika Kirk's beliefs are abhorrent. Her beliefs, her morals, her politics. Hers. She should be held to account for that. 2/
