she has postpartum psychosis and is bipolar. she actively sought medical help and informed numerous people she was fantasizing about killing her children. This isn't feminist junk science.

You're wrong. It is. Her doctor shopping doesn't mean her "cries for help" absolve her of murder. I will not budge from this position, because to do so would be inviting anarchy where anyone with a permission slip from a psychology major is free to commit whatever heinous crimes they feel like committing.
