The Victorian Goldfields Railway took no time to take advantage of this morning’s announcement of free public transport across Victoria in April:

@ThermiteBeGiants it would be legendary if the Vic gov’t would step up to covering all fares on the Victorian Goldfields Railway as part of this. I know we don’t expect anything legendary - and rarely even anything positive - from this gov’t, but it’s nice to dream.
