@mausmalone@mastodon.social I see what you mean. But the firehose can't be good --- which is why I've been fighting it recently. And to some success, might I add! The biggest problem isn't really availability, it's the status quo --- I can't get off of watching short form video content, 'cause it's what my friend group keeps sharing; I can't switch fully to RSS 'cause a lot of services swapped to newsletters and aren't offering a feed. But it is not an insurmountable problem! I've been making progress, slowly but surely. ^^
