Today the Trump DoJ sued Washington State over alleged noncitizen voting. The Trump regime does not care about pre-election wins in this suit or in California. The point is to establish a fig leaf for their post-election effort to interfere with Democratic gains in the House and Senate. They will do anything to a) get cases before the Roberts Court and b) expand legal grounds for federal interference in the 2028 elections. 2/

In addition to continuing to work on massive turnout to the polls, preparing for post-election protection is essential. Public presence after the election can deter the Roberts Court from taking cases it needn’t. It can make it clear to the outgoing House that the American public will not tolerate disrespect of the election results. 3/
