I have been trying to look into info on an official VoxeLibre gameplay wiki. From what I can find, it didnt seem like they had any thing official and the only wikis on VoxeLibre I could find was the dev one:
https://git.minetest.land/VoxeLibre/VoxeLibre
So, I got into the VoxeLibre discord, looked around there and got confirm from there that yeah, there isnt a gameplay wiki for VoxeLibre. So I suggested the idea of having an official gameplay wiki. I know Id be willing to help
Response today: Anything literally official would probably have to ultimately target an interconnection of three parts: wiki hosted somewhere, docs provided with the game, and the in-game help, with some obvious redundancy between those in whatever aspects. Currently we have the in-game help as well as the markdown docs.
Im honestly not sure how to interpret it. It sounds like the problem resides in the idea that they dont have anywhere to host it?
The above answer is whats behind my "I am a wiki nerd" post this morning. I was trying to understand if the response I got is related to them being happy with having the gameplay info available in game. Afterall, the more common thought these days is that everything is fine existing in this or that silo. Look how much documentation is on a discord and not on a website as well. Maybe part of the challenge is that they dont want the extra trouble and monetary cost of hosting things on a website. I mean, if you look at most VoxeLibre stuff it mostly leads back to their entry on ContentDB.
