So he went to Vietnam to avenge his monster friend who was rightfully killed for being an invader?
We’d be better off as a society if every single person who volunteered for Vietnam never came back.

Many murderer, eerrrrr…soldiers, are obviously against your opinion, but without the balls to say so. And yes, if no nation would find people willing to die for money, errrr freedom’n’stuff, the billionaires would have to fight each other themselves, and then wouldn’t. But there will always be clueless people, indoctrinated by enough bullshit to do so. Probably especially in the USA where the observationally challenged are legion and even wear red hats.
