I have this senior engineer I work with, he is ex military and did tours both in Iraq and Afghanistan. We were talking about them changing the enlistment age and he said "These kids are too fucking smart to enlist, so now with everyone losing their jobs to AI and feeling economic pressure they are trying to wring the last drop out of dumbass millenials like us."
