I know how it looks right now, I will explain more soon. Long story short the VPN deployments are RAM-based already, so that essentially means no logs. I have no intention on logging what sites you're visiting etc. The only information I've been keeping is IP addresses for each user account and that is purely to prevent abuse of the web app because it's so easy to create an account here and squat usernames. The "good" experience for the VPN will be paid. The free tier might not immediately be available for new users (my own internal trust system I implemented site-wide) and it will be limited. The free tier is for marketing purpose, mainly on mobile. Email is not really resource intensive compared to a VPN. I also used a tech stack that scales extremely well. There may be some kind of premium option that will be offered in the future for the email service, but what you have currently will never be paywalled. Nonetheless I still have to do some testing with some people before the VPN is ready for primetime.
