@UnionizedNetizen Anywhere in between, or half way? The Gila National Forest, just across the border in New Mexico, is incredible. The continental divide is cold this time of year, so you'll need winter gear.

@UnionizedNetizen Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Not heavily traveled. Tallest peak in Texas. And the salt flat between there and El Paso is one of the most desolate parts of the country I've ever seen.
