From suspected noncitizens. So no innocent until proven guilty here. If I allege that Gavin Newsom isn’t a citizen, processing his ballot becomes a federal felony? Meanwhile, NOT processing it is a state felony. Yay.

“If persons knowingly tabulate ballots cast by individuals identified by federal agencies as noncitizens, they risk becoming aiders and abettors to a federal crime.” Problem: Just because Trump’s feds identify someone as a non-citizen doesn’t actually mean they are a non-citizen: theguardian.com/…/dhs-nevada-voter-non-citizens-e… “State election officials said they reviewed 185 records homeland security sent them and confirmed they were US citizens.” npr.org/…/noncitizen-voters-trump-nevada-call

I mean if you don’t process them, you aren’t go to know if they are for a non-citizen or citizen. That’s what the process determines, right?

If they were knowingly processing fraudulent votes, then yes, of course. Processing ballots that are suspected by GOP members just because they might contain a majority of non-conservative votes is not a legal reason.
