I keep seeing posts about the importance of not supporting any Harry Potter-related projects and this is one of those things that makes me feel so out of the loop...I loved Harry Potter when the first book was released, when I was a kid, and gradually lost interest with each subsequent book. I have had no real temptation to engage in any Harry Potter media since the last movie came out and by then I was pretty much just done with the whole thing anyway, so by the time Rowling's shittiness was revealed to me it didn't directly affect my viewing or reading habits at all (not counting trying to avoid those still involved in the franchise). it feels so weird to me that this thing is still popular enough for this to even be an issue! there are so many better things out there, people...even putting aside the issue of who the author is!
