I’ve often reflected on how I was far more happy when I was young and totally disinterested in politics. Pretty much decided a couple years back I would try to return to that after this vote, win or lose.
At my age I need to enjoy my remaining days, not live in a giant angst bubble

@zachvat@newsie.social I respect your choice, and of course it’s never wrong to prioritize one’s mental health, but this is also exactly what authoritarians want and hope all of us will do.
