Westerners become apoplectic in the rare instance a young girl is physically struck by a young boy, even though girls at that age are literally physically larger than boys, because "boys need to know it's not acceptable to abuse their physical power over women before they have it." Westerners also become apoplectic when Easterners hold girls to similar standards for the sexual power they'll have as young women. The point of the burkah isn't to oppress women or girls, it's to stop women from oppressing men and boys. Oddly enough there are places in this world where it's unacceptable for women to indecently expose themselves to vulnerable men (and boys!!), it's understood for what it is: grooming and seductive abuse. Grown adult women who give a topographical view of their uterus and colon to 14 yo boys at the gym every day are committing more harm than any 'wifebeater.'
