Like, I really wish I could get into or listen to hip-hop because I know a lot of it is done by leftwing revolutionaries with great lyrics But I spent a few months being SAd in Orleans Parrish Prison - one of the worst jails in America. It's 95% black and the background soundtrack to me being gang-SAd was rap. It was either sports or rap. 24/7. So now hearing rap or sportsball fans whooping and hollering triggers a trauma response in me. It sucks. I hear rap and I'm being raped again 😥
