Happy 303 Day!
There is a myth that when Roland released the TB-303 in 1981, they had no idea that some of the tone controls would later be used (by tweaking knobs while the sequencer was running) to make an 'Acid' sound.
A TB-303 advert from 1982 refers to these tone controls, and says: "to be varied at pleasure".
"At Pleasure".
