I mulched my evergreen magnolia's fallen leaves about 18 months ago and mixed it with some garden soil to decompose. This spring I finally planted some seedlings in it and this is the best water retaining soil I've ever seen. I'm using it for a raised bed, so it is perfect. 🌱 #gardening
