@polotek@social.polotek.net I wish as an industry we were better at explicitly giving and talking about these ranges. We often talk past each other, because I think folks sometimes provide the optimistic end of this range (in the best/expected case, it will only take this much time), but we often *use* these estimates from the pessimistic end--i.e. we expect that we'll be done by that date with high confidence.
