Two of my three pawpaws look like twigs less than five inches tall. (I picked up two small saplings at the local native plant swap last fall.)
The other sapling is about 2 1/2 feet tall, with multiple branches. Hoping they all made it through our cold winter.
Last year first pawpaw leaves started showing on May 1.
I've never grown red currants, but this post has me thinking I should add them to my garden.

@redcrew I raise blackcurrants and clove currants, and they're great. It helps that they're one of my favorite flavors.
