Why even is an estate agent even auditing the age of #cars driven by their #job applicants, and in a somewhat devious way? If they won't hire people with older cars it should be stated upfront (the same way that a driving licence is a requirement for the job) rather than making them go through the whole application process. Reliability of a car is as much dependent on level of #maintenance than age , and what pushes down the figures the breakdown recovery places collect is #drivers who neglect maintenance - where I work in health and social care if we had such a policy we wouldn't be able to hire anyone (a lot of our staff drive cars older than 10 years) and it would discriminate against younger people and those new to the UK.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g7yd202ngo
