My Mum & Dad are watching a programme about country life, featuring shire horses. I love shire horses. A fella down the road from us kept some in a field nearby when I was growing up. Sometimes he’d let us kids have a ride on their backs. They had such lovely calm and accepting temperaments. You felt safe and as glorious as a king up there. #shirehorses #horses
