so I admit, I'm not really a business/corpo chud, so I do not understand all the workings. If CEO corpo says "we laid off 7000 workers, because AI" and shareholders go "oh boy money", but no one has shown that AI is actually doing the work of 7000 people let alone 7, why is this exciting to shareholders? Shouldn't they be like "hol up cowboy" and be hesitant to accept this?
