I wrote a little script to catch unknown commands in zsh. Wrote it up in the following snippet. It's rough and I can probably extend it. And xdg-open works on Linux, but does it work on other popular desktop OS's like FreeBSD, OpenBSD and OpenIndiana? https://gitlab.com/-/snippets/5972072
