The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a thing where if you prove to the government you have a disability they will give you an "NDIS plan" which is like an itemized amount of funding that you can spend on service providers in the market. Like, 5k for support workers, 3k for an occupational therapist, 20k for a motorized wheelchair etc. Essentially you get money to meet any disability needs that you prove you have. One of the problems though is Australia is filled with inbred towelheads who have genuine disability and inbred towelheads who can fake having a disability. Then, because they can't speak English, there needs to be towelhead service providers to service them. They are happy to work together to scam the taxpayer. eg. You bill your provider for 20 hours of support workers when you only needed 10. Then when they get paid they give you some of the money they got paid under the table.
