@Adorable_Sergal@hachyderm.io is it possibile the monitor EDID does not advertise 10 bit capabilites?
(Also, hdr is a lot more than just using 10 bit for colours sadly ☹️)
On KDE I've seen an EDR mode that I think it enables HDR output from windows even if the monitor is not capable of rendering the extended range.

@portaloffreedom@social.linux.pizza I would be disappointed in this monitor if it wasn't advertising 10-bit faculties, it's meant for workstations. It wasn't the most expensive thing out there, but it definitely wasn't cheap. EDR fakes HDR by brightening and dimming the backlight itself, which is... not great.
