Using opencode with Codex after hitting my Claude MAX weekly limit until tomorrow evening feels a bit as being the victim of a cruel practical joke... On one hand the Opencode UI is *so much better*, apart from the ridiculous Knight Rider spinner. On the other hand, using Codex feels like dealing with a passive-aggressive, slightly dim teenager who alternates between being too stupid or intentionally obstructive. I don't know why. GPT5.2 isn't generally a bad model.
