I need information (not money) to help out a friend in Switzerland. [Edited to add: they are a Swiss citizen.] I have a friend in Montreux (Vaud) in serious crisis. They are considering voluntary self admission to a psychiatric facility. But there are obstacles: - They have had terrible experiences in facilities in the past. - They are on disability payments and are terrified of getting stuck with a bill they can&#39;t pay that ruins their life. Can anyone in Montreux area recommend an appropriate facility that is guaranteed to be free and decent quality? Or can you recommend where to go to get information and support for someone in Vaud who is in crisis? This is high stakes situation, I live in a different country I don&#39;t need &quot;let me google that for you&quot; or random speculation, I need *reliable* information from people who know what they&#39;re talking about. @AdaraAstin I've had good experiences at fondation de Nant (nant.ch) and hospital Rennaz (0800 779 779), but can't tell for adult services and it might vary a lot between wards. The 143 (general), 144 (ambulance) or 0848 133 133 (cantonal doctor) hotlines can also help if needed or provide other options. CHUV is indeed an option. @Nclt might suggest alternatives. *edit: corrected cantonal doctor number
