It was kinda inevitable that artists with greater energy would start getting booked and I'd get left behind... I'll always be boosting people and standing up for them, as long as I'm doing events. The numbers for AlgoRhythms are fading off while those who can afford to put £thousands behind events take off... But that's the world we live in. Even if I end up bailing, I know that I played my small part in bringing up a thriving scene :) While I've only made a tiny dent as an artist - helping others succeed has been a lot more successful so that's something 💖 The fight is always to carve out time to do these things in a very commercial world.
