Switching back to a traditional distro from NixOS is a weird experience. Like you've seen the light, and a green forest, and now you have to go back and live in the depths of a cold cave, with dim light filtering in from above (that would be the nix package manager).
Context: I had to switch to another distro at work bcz of some compliance stuff. I had used Debian for more years than I like to admit, and it's a good, solid distro. But it's not the same thing. Not even remotely.

@kupac I am a 4+ NixOS user and recently setup Linux Mint for a friend. 😈 with nix package manager .... But setting up a fully multi language mint install was a blast from the past. Dark mode out of the box looks stellar.
