@drmambobob@ecoevo.social glad that you could be creative. Since most astrophysical parameters are estimated using Bayesian probability I wonder if telescopes could be rebranded as Bayesian data collection devices.

@galaxy_map@mastodon.social @drmambobob@ecoevo.social Given the number crunching required for muchbof the work in astronomy, there is little reason why you couldn't use the "AI" funding for astronomy work. Most of the time these titles given by funding agencies are just for public consumption and have little relevance to what actually gets funding.
