Oops. Found a Linux kernel regression on my "new" gaming laptop... (Razer Blade 14 Base 2021) (Edit: not a regression, see thread, fixed)
Running Debian Trixie with backports kernels, the 6.17.13 kernel works fine, but 6.18.5 can't find the root device. It led me astray, I figured the ahci setting in the BIOS (that somehow affects NVMe drives) had gotten messed up, which is usually how my work laptop fails to boot after I let the battery go dead. But nope! Just a software bug.
(Interestingly, it also says "tainted due to CPU out of spec" - didn't think Razer had actually done anything exciting with the i7-10750H in here...)
Now I just gotta make sure I don't accidentally remove that old kernel.
