No actually you don't deserve the right to discuss your opinion about a project's decision in a projects issue tracker. Especially if you are being aggravating.
I always come back to "Open Source is Not About You" by Rich Hickey [1] because frankly the entitlement from some people is through the roof. You don't have the right to tell people what they should work on, nor that the direction they are taking the project sucks, etc.

Frankly soft and hard forking projects should be more encouraged, and reproducible builds and good build systems should really make this easier. One of the fundamental rights open source gives you *is* the right to modify and run *your* version of the software. A FLOSS licence however doesn't give you the right to be demanding and have upstream support your whimsical wishes.
