You can say someone did something really bad at a party that one time when you were 19, does it mean it happened? no, for all you know, the person you've accused of doing that bad thing at that party that one time wasn't even at the party. It doesn't matter now because the aligations are out and this person's life is needlessly ruined. Even if another person, the accuser retracts their statement, it doesn't matter, the person that's been accused has to deal forever with a ruined life and there's nothing that can change that. See, this is why I'm saying be careful about this stuff, people who have been proven innocent have been needlessly dragged through the mud and in some cases, have paid the ultimate price, just because someone went in without full verefiable evidence and made another person's life hell, and BTW, this isn't gender specific either.
