And that is very much the Linux community way of dealing with things. If you don't like the way something is done, do something else. 😁 As for the PLM controversy, I never felt for the scam in the first place. Nothing was ever posted by the KDE team indicating that there was ever a requirement for PLM. It's an option for those who want it on SystemD core systems. If you're going to avoid those anyway, you never need to worry about it.
