Watched Sinners yesterday, and while there were parts I enjoyed, overall it was a "meh" movie. I think the problem for me was that the entire movie was exposition about WWI, organized crime, Jim Crow, the death of loved ones, etc. All the stuff that would have been great storytelling. You rarely saw what was being described; you just had to imagine it the whole time.
