How strange that all three parties involved in the latest war are at least partly motivated by apocalyptic eschatology and monotheistic religiosity.
Israel, Iran and USA each are following a belief system that is heavily invested in getting rewarded for morally sound behaviour in otherworldly heavenly spheres making any effort to cherish life on this planet a precious singularity worthy not to be destroyed and obliterated a superfluous affair.
The three war parties resemble each other ideologically that they could be viewed as family where, as everybody knows, love and hate can be just a blink of an eye apart
so that only one thing is certain - entities that are defined by kinship and nationalism, by blood and soil have a huge potential to explode into any direction.
Samuel Huntington's "Clash Of Civilizations" seemed to be all about insurmountable cultural differences, but these war parties mimick the death cult of the other side as if they were in a pageant of warfaring states.
They hate the enemy because he functions just like oneself, because his aspirations are interchangeable with one's own, because they have an intimate knowledge of his innermost secrets differing hardly from their own murderous hatred.
