for as much hate as furaffinity gets it&#39;s still vastly better than twitter or bluesky for posting and retaining* furry art. and the other furry-run sites as well, like e621, sofurry, weasyl, inkbunny, itaku, and so on. genuinely I don&#39;t understand furs who enjoy furry art who don&#39;t have an account on at least one of those sites. *except of course when artists nuke their galleries, but that&#39;s both their right to do, and there are archives to dig through if one really wants to find

@noxypaws we don't have an account on any of those (except FA but that's ONLY because they loginwall all the kinky stuff) but we also don't have twitter or anything either. I guess technically I'm on bluesky but never use it I could see being on weasyl or inkbunny. Haven't poked sofurry much.

@noxypaws objectively they are all indeed better, not here to contest with that reality but y'know what fucking sucks? furaffinity especially, but also e621 and inkbunny, randomly go on purges because the admins feel like it furaffinity randomly claimed certain characters are underaged, which therefore needed to be banned (which included the former admin's works, great job dinguses). e621 also goes on random art purges where entire tags are deemed illegal suddenly. and inkbunny just has a transphobic power-tripping admin who can decide unattributed 3d models aren't artistically intrinsic, while AI slop is. so yeah, good point, but also fuck me man we still deserve so much better. any time a new art site crops up, they either immediately pull the rug underneath people by saying "actually that's The Bad Art. fuck you and die", or they instate rules like "feral art literally equates to sexual violence in real life" and wonder why nobody signs up i just want a good gallery site damnit
