One of the reason I love Deconstruction Zone. The host has degrees in biblical studies, reads biblical Hebrew and Greek, and was a pastor for 20 years. When Christians complain about “but the context” he drags them through the context face first. Fun fact: the “love your neighbor” bit literally only refers to those actually close to you. I don’t remember the exact word but it’s generally accepted to refer to only Hebrews. Also a few verses later God tells you exactly who you’re allowed to enslave (anyone from foreign nations).
