Like I've been saying for 30 years. Integration into the US economy is a dumb idea. And today it's recklessly self-destructive. We have lots of attractive alternatives to that, that only start with economic ties, and lead to much more profitable relationships – profitable in many more ways than just money – with nations we have a lot more in common with.
