Round two of todays plain air outing. I figured out an OK way to get the feeling of little houses. Also, the trick to avoid overworking paintings is two paint multiples at the same time. That’s what I did here. #watercolor #pleinair

Also it was much warmer and the sun was high so I could actually do layers of washes and have them dry. Patience is all well and good but working with nature—my own impatient nature and the bright sun—beats trying to change it. #watercolor #pleinair
