This UI pattern where the window tabs are below the window controls bothers me so much. I know that the send button isn't going to send both messages, but the information hierarchy implies that it might. It makes me nervous every single time, even though I know I should know better at this point.

@jeremykanter@mastodon.social That's why I was against CSD from the beginning: The opportunities to make things slightly nicer are completely overshadowed by the terrible decisions UI designers make, once that space is "freely available".
