I know I have not posted publicly until recently, and I hate to ask for this, but I need help escaping my current situation (with an abusive, queerphobic, ableist, and conservative family) and escaping the united states. A close mutual of mine and I have been discussing this privately, and I have outlined steps I need to escape, but I am having trouble securing necessary funding, adequate housing, and other resources and aid to escape. I also cannot access private, public, or commercial transport due to disabilities (both physical and neurodivergences). What makes this worse is that I have not been able to gather much evidence of abuse due to being gaslit for most of my life, and I have doubts and concerns that going to court and getting the needed legal aid will not work given that the legal system in my area is right-leaning and because I have not suffered long-term or life-threatening physical abuse that is visible to others. If anyone has advice for this, please reply. There are more details to be disclosed (see replies below), but I want to privately vet whoever helps me for my own privacy and safety. Boosts are also appreciated. Important Update: There is some urgency to this. I am expecting another explosion soon that I cannot escape, and given the reasoning above, as well as some experiences I have heard from mutuals, I do not trust the police system to intervene properly, if at all. #DomesticViolence #Ableism
