In theory, if we start seeing age verification stuff in FOSS, someone will be able to hack around it. As in, fork the project, remove that, and redistribute the source. Or just download the source and spend a weekend removing that. Or something. I worry about what happens if/when lawmakers or lobbyists think of this, and attention turns to what this 'free software' thing really means.
