As a #linux and #bsd user I feel that the time is right to switch from Murena /e/os to a #linux operating system for my Fairphone 5.
#ubuntuTouch is very nice and stable, waydroid helps to add the items I would miss.
Is #sailfishos a good an feasible alternative? Anything I missed in this context?

@justdude Perhaps #postmarketos offers the most decent linux experience on Fairphone 5. It supports more hw parts and more linux stuff than Ubuntu Touch and supports android emulation (SailfishOS for FP5 doesn't have Jolla's compatibilty layer). Also this is the only one I didn't try.
