Well, hey, friends here and far. This is not "fediverse" trust and safety related, except that there's a big crossover between us alternative microblog users and Signal's users.
There are now people receiving "Verify your Signal App" phishing attacks, just like the "Verify your Mastodon" ones.
Please don't verify ANYthing in response to a message on a network feed, no matter how "secure" or "encrypted".
