@nina_kali_nina@tech.lgbt annoyingly, if the person requested a product and liked the outcome, they got what they paid for?
I think if I could afford to commission someone, I would be paying for their artistic skills, but expect final filters/tweaks and polish. I wouldn't "commission an artist" if I thought I could make it myself another way.
GenAI sold as artist's work is horrid. But does someone owning a fake Rolex watch care if it's fake, if it looks "just good enough"?

@FibroJedi@gamepad.club I suppose. But if they were selling a product, I'd be turned off by it. In fact, there were multiple instances where people were selling a product and used genAI to advertise, and it was a turn off for me. So there's that.
